Willow Pig Sculpture Course with Joe Gregory – Saturday 20th April 2024

Time: 10.30am-4.30pm price: £95

Over the course of the day you’ll have fun creating a willow Pig with great character, standing, sitting, a heritage breed maybe…if you have a specific pig in mind bring a picture or two or I work from one of my designs it’s up to you.

Learn to weave.

Suitable for beginners and those with some Weaving experience this is a lovely way to spend a day. Come alone and meet other crafty folk or come with a friend or two for a special day together.

Using the finest English Willows you will learn sculpture techniques to be able to create your own willow sculptures.

These fine pigs look fabulous in the garden or in the home and treated with wood preservative will last many years outside.

The Willows tea and coffee house on the ground floor of the building will keep you topped up during the day with the finest rainforest alliance coffees and teas, locally made cakes and simple savouries if you desire.

Notes:

No prior experience needed but you must have good mobility in hands & feet & be able to stand whilst working.

Please wear old (non dangly) clothes, covered toe shoes (no sandals) & little or no jewellry.
