I’ve been running this fun sculpture course for over 10 years!

Over the course of the day you’ll learn to weave a bird of your choice, popular choices include, curlews (flying or standing) hens, herons. I have examples around my workshop for inspiration too and you’ll have fun creating a bird with great character.

Using the finest English Willows you will learn sculpture techniques to be able to create your own willow sculptures. These fine birds look fabulous in the garden and treated with wood preservative will last many years.

Learn to weave. Suitable for beginners and those with some Weaving experience a lovely way to spend a day. Come alone and meet other crafty folk or come with a friend or two for a special day together.

The Willows tea and coffee house on the ground floor of the building will keep you topped up during the day with the finest rainforest alliance coffees and teas, locally made cakes and simple savouries of you desire.

Notes:

No prior experience needed but you must have good mobility in hands & feet & be able to stand whilst working.

Please wear old (non dangly) clothes, covered toe shoes (no sandals) & little or no jewellry.
