I’m excited to share with you my brand NEW kit, it’s my Willow Foraging bag! I’ve spent the last 3 months developing this one and I’m very happy to finally share it with you.

I’m passionate about making basket weaving accessable and achievable for everyone. Weaving is the world’s oldest craft, we share this with all cultures on our planet and basket weaving is one of the UK’s intangable cultural heritage crafts.

It’s been a major part of our everyday lives for thousands of years. Over this time we have developed a very special relationship with Willow as a basket making material and it remains today the UK’s most sustainable product.

Here in the UK, during the later part of the 20th century, this most important craft almost became extinct. Excitingly over the last decade it has seen a massive revival with more and more people taking up basket weaving and sharing their experience with family and friends which then means more people want to have a go themselves!

It ticks every box; it’s mindful, peaceful, difficult and immensley pleasing all at the same time, as well as being totally sustainable and the very best part…you get to make something that is useful and will last many, many years. There really is nothing else quite like it: )
